The D design

My name is Dijana Lukunic. As you can see, my mother sensed that my guiding principle in life will be the letter D, and she wasn't wrong. "The D design "has become my life guideline. 

I would describe myself as an Artist passionate about design, colours and painting, as an open-minded individual with self-initiative to express my creativity in product design, textile and fashion design, but above all on canvas that serves me as a book in which I write my novels.

 

I finished my master's degree in 2014, at Faculty of Textile Technology, University of Zagreb (Croatia)  and attained the academic title Master of textile technology, engineering and industrial design of textiles and clothes. I have attended and successfully finished School of Art led by Professor Lovrekovic where I enhanced my art skills. As a result of expressing my creativity through painting, I have held three solo art exhibitions.

Through years of experience in Art and painting I have experimented with many styles and techniques, until I found my own unique expression. I would call it a mix of abstract expressionism with elements of realism. The first such collection I called "All that She is" because it represents all types of mood that female beauty can hide inside of her mind. In each of my painting can be found parts of female face that reveal an emotion.

My opinion is that any art besides aesthetics can also have function.
When I do product design I use my paintings to implement them into product to  make it special and unique.
